The mandate

Singapore as your strategic anchor. The world, expanded with control.

Asia Wealth Mobility converts a family’s residence objectives, travel pattern, banking needs, asset footprint and succession priorities into a sequenced multi-jurisdiction programme, with Singapore serving as the principal coordination and private-client hub where the facts support it.

A visa or residence permit does not automatically establish tax residence, eliminate tax elsewhere, secure a bank account, confer permanent residence or create a right to citizenship. The programme begins with feasibility and conflict analysis before applications, investments or relocation costs are committed.

Programme architecture

Four control layers from Singapore core readiness to continuing cross-border oversight.

The value is not the number of residence cards collected. It is the quality of the architecture connecting immigration status, physical presence, banking, tax, family logistics and evidence of continuing compliance.

01

Singapore core

Coordinate private-bank readiness, source-of-wealth documentation, ownership mapping, tax-residence review and, where suitable, an optional Programme A family-office workstream.

02

Residence strategy

Compare lawful routes against the family’s nationality, assets, income, employment, insurance, investment appetite, physical-presence capacity and renewal obligations.

03

Integrated execution

Coordinate local counsel, authorised agents, banks, legalisation, translations, appointments, settlement providers, schools, healthcare, security and family logistics.

04

Mobility Guardian

Maintain a consolidated obligations register covering permits, travel days, tax-review triggers, bank KYC refreshes, insurance, renewals and continuing eligibility evidence.

Programme structure and tiers

Select the jurisdictions that serve a defined purpose, not a decorative package.

Platinum, Diamond and Full Bundle are SGT service tiers, not official government programme names. A single SGT programme-management mandate coordinates the workstreams; separate local professional engagements may still be required by law or provider policy.

Platinum Tier

Singapore + UAE

Dual-hub private-client architecture

For families seeking a Singapore-centred banking and wealth-administration platform alongside an eligible UAE long-term residence route.

  • Singapore private-client and banking-readiness workstream
  • Optional Programme A family-office feasibility review
  • UAE Golden Visa or other suitable route screening
  • Cross-border source-of-wealth and provider coordination
  • Annual travel, renewal and compliance register
Diamond Tier

Singapore + UAE + Thailand

Regional mobility and lifestyle architecture

Adds Thailand for families requiring a Southeast Asian long-stay, operating or lifestyle base, subject to the appropriate category.

  • All Platinum workstreams
  • Thailand Privilege membership or LTR route assessment
  • Healthcare, school, property and domestic-support coordination
  • Three-jurisdiction travel and tax-residence review map
  • Local insurance, reporting and renewal controls
Full Bundle

Singapore + UAE + Thailand + Malaysia + Portugal

Five-jurisdiction family mobility programme

For families whose actual business, lifestyle, succession and European-access objectives justify the additional cost and continuing complexity.

  • All Diamond workstreams
  • Malaysia MM2H route coordination through a licensed operator
  • Portugal ARI or alternative residence-route feasibility
  • IFICI eligibility coordination where the client’s activity qualifies
  • Illustrative 36-month transition and renewal roadmap

What the programme entails

A coordinated private-client operating model across banking, residence, family transition and continuing compliance.

Each jurisdiction is assigned a defined role. The resulting architecture must remain coherent under tax-residence rules, treaty analysis, immigration conditions, banking due diligence and the family’s real pattern of life.

Singapore core

Banking and wealth-administration readiness

Coordinate source-of-wealth and source-of-funds evidence, private-bank introductions, ownership mapping, Singapore tax-residence analysis and, where suitable, a separate 13U family-office mandate under Programme A.

United Arab Emirates

Long-term residence and Middle East connectivity

Assess an eligible Golden Visa or other route. The UAE generally does not levy personal income tax on individuals, but residence, tax residence, corporate-tax exposure and bank acceptance require separate analysis.

Thailand

Long-stay and regional lifestyle access

Assess Thailand Privilege membership, the LTR programme or another lawful route. Membership or immigration status does not itself determine tax residence or healthcare entitlement.

Malaysia

Second-home residence

Coordinate the appropriate MM2H category through a licensed MM2H operator, including financial, property, presence, insurance, family and renewal requirements.

Portugal

European residence planning

Assess Portugal’s ARI or another lawful residence route through Portuguese counsel. IFICI, sometimes marketed as “NHR 2.0”, is a targeted tax incentive for qualifying activities, not a general investor entitlement.

Cross-border planning

Tax, estate and regulated-asset coordination

Coordinate specialist advice on dual residence, treaties, succession, controlled entities, reporting, digital assets and crypto. SGT does not provide regulated investment or portfolio-management services.

Integrated services

One relationship lead, with accountable specialists in every jurisdiction.

The programme is designed to reduce fragmented execution, not to conceal regulated work behind a concierge label. Each adviser, authorised agent, bank and service provider retains responsibility for its own professional or regulated mandate.

A

Relationship Director

A dedicated SGT lead manages priorities, document requests, provider dependencies, decision logs, reporting and the family’s consolidated programme timetable.

B

Application coordination

Coordinate eligibility reviews, evidence packs, legalisation, translations, appointments and submissions through authorised local professionals and official channels.

C

Family transition

Coordinate schools, healthcare, compliant property providers, chauffeur services, licensed security agencies, household setup and domestic-staff agencies where required.

D

Specialist planning

Manage the engagement of legal, tax, estate, banking, family-office and regulated digital-asset professionals without representing their advice as SGT’ own.

Execution pathway

A staged mandate with clear gates before applications and capital are committed.

The process tests feasibility first, then sequences applications and settlement work according to documentary dependencies, official appointment availability and the family’s actual travel plan.

Family and mobility diagnostic

Map nationalities, residence history, travel, tax profile, family composition, source of wealth, banking needs, business interests and intended outcomes.

Conflict and feasibility review

Identify route conflicts, physical-presence constraints, tax exposure, document gaps, sanctions, reputation issues and jurisdiction-specific kill criteria.

Architecture memorandum

Define each jurisdiction’s purpose, route, provider responsibilities, assumptions, implementation budget, continuing conditions and fallback strategy.

Application orchestration

Coordinate appointed counsel and authorised agents, evidence collection, legalisation, translations, bank-readiness work, appointments and family applications.

Activation and transition

Manage arrival logistics, identification formalities, compliant property and insurance providers, healthcare, schools, transport, security and household setup.

Guardian oversight

Monitor permits, renewals, travel days, tax-review dates, KYC refreshes, passports, insurance and evidence of continuing eligibility across the programme.

Ongoing support

One control view across every approved route.

The Mobility Guardian maintains the consolidated record and escalation framework. Formal regulatory representation, tax filings, legal advice, banking decisions and portfolio actions remain with the relevant authorised professionals.

Who the programme is for

For internationally mobile families whose complexity justifies central control.

Designed for families with substantial liquid or operating assets who seek Singapore as a principal private-client base while adding carefully selected residence and lifestyle options across Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

The programme is not suitable for clients seeking guaranteed visas, anonymous banking, artificial tax residence, undocumented assets or a bundle of jurisdictions without a defensible commercial, family or lifestyle rationale.

Professional perimeter

SGT manages the programme. Licensed and qualified providers retain professional responsibility.

One SGT mandate can centralise programme management, but it cannot erase local licensing rules or convert independent government, tax authority and bank decisions into guaranteed contractual outcomes.

SGT

Programme design, document control, sequencing, provider coordination, consolidated reporting, family transition management and continuing obligations oversight.

Immigration counsel and authorised agents

Local advice, route confirmation, regulated representation, application filing and communications with authorities where authorised.

Tax, legal and estate advisers

Tax-residence opinions, treaty analysis, entity, succession and estate advice, local reporting and formal legal documentation.

Banks and regulated providers

Independent KYC, account-opening decisions, investment services, portfolio management, property transactions, insurance, corporate services and regulated digital-asset work.

Confidential mobility assessment

Determine the viable architecture before selecting the tier.

The initial assessment reviews the family’s nationality, residence history, travel pattern, tax profile, source of wealth, banking requirements, intended jurisdictions, Programme A relevance and capacity to maintain continuing conditions.

Important notice: SGT provides programme-management, documentation and concierge coordination services. Platinum Tier, Diamond Tier and Full Bundle are SGT commercial service names and are not official government programme names. SGT does not guarantee residence, permanent residence, citizenship, tax residence, tax treatment, tax savings, bank-account opening, investment performance or processing times. Singapore family-office, immigration, legal, tax, banking, investment, corporate-service, property, security, insurance, healthcare and other regulated activities are undertaken by appropriately qualified, licensed or authorised providers in the relevant jurisdiction. Eligibility criteria and administrative requirements may change and must be reconfirmed at the start of each mandate.
